Join the Los Angeles Police Department and your neighbors at events celebrating the annual National Night Out. The program promotes cooperation between the public and police departments to create safe and vibrant neighborhoods. You can eat free In-N-Out Burgers and Hot Dogs (while supplies last) and pick up free trees from Milion Trees L.A. at North Hollywood Park at Magnolia and Tujunga boulevards. Events there are from 5p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information on this event, click here. The Hollywood Community Police Station, 1358 N. Wilcox Ave., will serve hot dogs, popcorn and snow cones from 5-8 p.m. There will be face-painting, jumpers and an appearance by Dora the Explorer. Admission is free.
