Focus on Emergency Preparedness

A major Emergency Preparedness event will be held in Council District 4 this weekend. The Page Museum at the LaBrea Tar Pits will host the 17th Annual Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seventeen city departments, emergency services organizations and county and state agencies will demonstrate how to handle a natural (or man-made) disaster and distribute FREE samples of emergency products.
