Please join Councilmember Tom LaBonge, the CD4 staff and the Department of Recreation and Parks for a clean-up of the Griffith Park Bird Sanctuary on Saturday, September 13, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
This event is part of Councilmember LaBonge's year-long effort to restore Griffith Park in the wake of the devastating May 2007 fire that burned almost one-quarter of the park.
Meet us in front of the entrance to the Bird Sanctuary on Vermont Canyon Road. Please wear sunscreen and appropriate clothing for outdoor work.
